VENICEOur hotel, a former convent, has a lovely garden area & is close to the Grand Canal & the train station; we can walk to great off-the-beaten-path painting sites! Our included dinners will be at a wonderful restaurant overlooking the Canal and we will have a vaporetto pass to do some water travel…We may also take a day-trip to Padua by public bus so you can see the countryside and sight-see or paint as you choose in that intriguing city!!

The price for your terrific Plein Air trip to Venice is $3695 Dbl Occ. painters.  Non-painting companions are welcome at $3495.

We have some single rooms available for an additional charge or $695

Included: 10 nites at a 3 star hotel steps from the Grande Canal; 5 dinners and all breakfasts; all ground (or water!) transportation for any excursions and if needed, to some of our Venice painting sites; thorough and generous amounts of instruction time with Ken throughout the whole class and plenty of time to paint, sight see, eat and shop in this magical place!

Not included: getting to Venice and to your hotel and back; some dinners, any additional personal hotel expenses; lunches; most alcoholic beverages; any further tips and tax; trip insurance.

Travel suggestions to Venice…fly to Marco Polo airport and take one of various means of transport into the city…or, fly to Milan Malpensa Airport and take a train from within the airport…a much lower airfare and the train ride is 4 scenic hours for about $50!
